DEMAND FOR ROYAL ASCOT HOSPITALITY UP 20%

One of the most prestigious sporting events, Royal Ascot, has seen a surge in corporate hospitality bookings following last year’s £200 million redevelopment.

Hospitality at the event has received early interest this year, with bookings 20% higher than this time last year. Many of the premier restaurants are already sold out on Ladies Day, Thursday 21st June, with limited availability already confirmed on the remaining 4 days. An early booking is recommended.

Held over 5 days in June, 19th – 23rd June 2007, Royal Ascot is a paradise for lovers of racing, fashion and fine dining. With 17 group races, including six group one races, the racing quality is unrivalled anywhere in the world. In 2007 Royal Ascot will celebrate the 200th Anniversary of its first and most famous race, the Ascot Gold Cup. Racegoers enjoy the racing whilst consuming 170,000 bottles of champagne, 10,000 lobsters, 4 tonnes of beef and 100,000 scones.

In addition to the existing restaurants, boxes and hospitality areas, a bespoke triple-decker structure will be erected to accommodate 1250 race goers per day during Royal Ascot. Located in the beautiful Old Paddock area, it will play host to fine dining, unrivalled hospitality, exquisite views and Royal Ascots first ever fashion show which will be held in the premier Bessborough Restaurant throughout the week.
